PROJECT MANAGER

Morningstar Productions, LLC is offering a full time position for a sales & Project manager. The candidate must present  a high level of detailed customer service and be a skilled technician with the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot complex AV setups. We are Morningstar Productions, LLC in business since 1989 and serving our customers in California, Arizona and Nevada.

Under the direction of senior staff you will be accountable for effectively selling, detailing and coordinating events ensuring that the customers’ expectations are exceeded. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accepts requests for proposals and pursues leads for corporate business, rentals sales & events including responding to inquiries and executing proposals and contracts. 

  • Responsible for all payment s and collecting deposits outlined in the quote per standard operating procedures. 

  • Convert prospective clients into committed customers by building relationships through on-site visits/meetings, property tours and proactive communication.

  • Participates in on-site and off-site visits with prospective clients as well as pre and post event meetings.

  • Maintain positive and productive relationships with internal operations. 

  • Commitment to managing clients by providing the highest level of service with integrity. 

  • Develop a marketing plan that leads to new customers and streams of revenue.

  • Guide clients in preparation of events by interpreting and explaining contract provisions, policies and procedures.

  • Assist in the selling/planning of other associate’s clients as needed and directed by the senior staff.

  • Work Day consists of 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday (a minimum of 40 hours per Week) Alternate work days and hours may be required

  • Leading the team on shows that you have sold or as directed.

  • This role may call for the individual to assist with scheduling and calendaring on an as needed basis, help with additional duties including some general office preparation, filing, and scanning of documents.

  • Meet or exceed sales goals of $200,000.00 Year 1 and $300,000.00 Year 2.

  • Other duties as assigned.
